Bridge Replacement Project

Project Description: The Wildlands Conservancy will receive sealed bids for the Bridge Replacement Project. Bids will be received via PennBid until 12:00 p.m. on May 27, 2026.
The project consists of the installation of precast concrete abutments and wingwalls, demolition of existing abutments and pier, stream / streambank restoration installation of a 80’ span x 14’ wide Contech Big R deck system and associated road approaches restoration work. The bridge will be supplied by the Owner.
All documents are available at no cost at PennBid (www.penbid.bonfirehbub.com).
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held May 14, 2026 at 10:00am on site. Access to the site is from the Farr Road side off of Cedar Crest Blvd.
Work for this project must begin within 15 calendar days after the executed agreement and bonds.
The project for which Bids are being solicited is subject to the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
A Bid Bond is required for this project.
The Wildlands Conservancy reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to accept any Bid which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Owner. No Bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above.
