Notice is hereby given that sealed bids
by which the City will purchase

Model 4S/25H-E3
(No Substitutes)
will be received in the Purchasing Agent's Office until
3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2026
when they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Specifications are available in the Purchasing Office
or may be downloaded at www.milfordct.us/863/Current-Bids .
The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to reject any or all bids
and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the City's best interests.

INSTRUCTIONS
If you download bid packages from the City website at www.milfordct.us/863/Current-Bids it is your responsibility
to insure that you have current information. Click on the “Changes in Bids” icon for any applicable addenda prior to
submitting a bid.
The City is not responsible for data or transmission errors.
Detach the Bid Form and the Drug Free Workplace Certificate and complete by typewriter or in ink - pencil entries
will not be accepted.
If tie bids are received which are equal as to price, quality, and service, a bid received from a business which submits
a drug free workplace certification with the bid form will be given preference in accordance with Milford's Code of
Ordinances, Article V, Division 2.
Sign, seal in an envelope clearly marked Bauer Compressor Model UN 4S/25H-E3 Bid
and mail or hand deliver to:
City of Milford Purchasing Agent
70 West River Street - Milford, CT 06460-3317
Submit one (1) Original Bid and two (2) Copies.
The bid must be in the Purchasing Department no later than the time and date indicated on the Invitation to Bid.
FAXed and E-mailed bids are not acceptable and will not be considered.
Your name and address must appear in the upper left-hand corner and the name of the bid must appear in the lower
left-hand corner of the envelope.
We will not accept or consider bids, withdrawals, or amendments received after the date and time specified.
We are exempt from State sales tax and from Federal excise tax - do not include these taxes in your proposal.
If you believe that a possible conflict of interest may occur should we accept your proposal and award you a contract
or a purchase order, then you must disclose this belief in a statement attached to the back of the Bid Form.
The City of Milford reserves the right to accept or reject any or all options, bids, or proposals; to waive any
technicality in a bid or part thereof submitted, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of
Milford.

Bauer Compressor UN 4S/25H-E3, Bauer Uni4 S, 6000 PSI, 20 HP with 25SCFM, Three phase electric,
208/ 3-Phase/ VAC/60Hz. Quantity of 1.
GT/CO/III, Bauer Electronic Carbon Monoxide Monitor with Cal Kit. Quantity of 1.
CYL-9/6K, Bauer ASME cylinder installed in UNICUS 4s or 4i compressor. Quantity of 2.
RF/REG, Bauer remote fill panel mount with adj. regulator. Quantity of 1.
Air Sample (RA01). Quantity of 1.
Compressor In-Service Training. Quantity of 1.
Compressor install Sire Survey, install, operate, leak test, train and perform air sample with written
report. Quantity of 1.

DRUG FREE WORKPLACE CERTIFICATE
(You are NOT required to sign this form – sign it only if it applies to your company )
I hereby certify that this company:
1.
Has a published statement notifying employees that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing,
possession, or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the workplace and that this statement specifies
the actions which will be taken against employees for violations of such prohibition.
2.
Has a written policy informing employees about the dangers of drug abuse in the workplace, the firm's policy
of maintaining a drug free workplace, any available counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance programs, and
the penalties which may be imposed upon employees for drug use violations.
