The vendor must be a NVLAP-accredited dosimetry provider to supply, process, evaluate, and reportoptically stimulated luminescence (OSL) whole-body dosimeters for emergency workers. Services support VDEMâs statewide radiological emergency preparedness program and annual rotating kit schedule in accordance with the following specifications and scope of work on an annual rotating schedule established by the agency and provided therein.VDEM intends to procure the services of an accredited dosimetry provider (e.g.vendor) that will supply, process, evaluate, package, and ship dosimeters, as well as maintain records for planned special (e.g., emergency) exposures and supply necessary reports of any such exposures in an efficient manner that meets all applicable regulatory requirements to ensure the health and safety of emergencyworkers serving the Commonwealth of Virginia.Accreditation & Compliancea.
