Project Description: Ada County (“County”) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the supply of scrubber media (“Media”) to scrub hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) from the landfill gas (LFG) stream at the Ada County Landfill (“Landfill”). This treatment is necessary to comply with the County's Title V air permit, ensuring the LFG meets regulatory requirements before being flared. The Media will be used in the Landfill’s existing scrubber tanks, which are designed to reduce H₂S concentrations to below 600 ppm, with a target of consistently achieving below 500 ppm. The County expects to receive proposals that offer a cost-effective, efficient solution to reduce H₂S by at least 95%, with Media that does not require water addition.
