Description
.1 Working towards the outcomes and objectives identified within the Project Plan, the successful Proponent is to apply proven parks-based (non-urban) technical design practices in conjunction with appropriate tools and skilled resources through the Assessment, Conceptual Design, Detailed Design, Approval Process, Issued for Tender and Issued for Construction and Project Close Out phases for the site to achieve the end result desired by the Province.
.2 The work to be accomplished under this project includes:
.1 Upgrade identified nodes along Powderface Trail as per Project Plan.
.2 Upgrade signage using the AFP Public Lands Sign Manual as needed.
.3 Increase accessibility wherever reasonably possible.
.4 Reduce environmental degradation wherever feasible.
.5 Wildlife friendly fencing, cattleguard at Powderface Ridge, and trail route construction at Prairie Creek on behalf of grazing leaseholders.
