Description
The Copyright Board of Canada (The Board) requires a Contractor with economics expertise to prepare an
industry profile of the copyright marketplace in Canada. The objective of this analysis is to document the
economic value of the copyright market, its structure, the level of competition and market performance.
The industry profile will provide more insights into the copyright market1 characteristics and practices and
assist the Board in aligning its strategic operations accordingly. This would reinforce the Board’s ability to
develop tailored regulatory approaches that consider copyright market realities
