Description
The project will be delivered through the following phases, further described in Schedule “A” – Schedule of Services:
Phase 1 – Information Gathering and Scope Definition:
Gather information and review the current state of the existing Park and its infrastructure. Engage Stakeholders and staff to determine functionality of the site and its operations.
Phase 2 – Assessment and Analysis:
Identify, assess, analyze and recommend options for infrastructure repair, replacement, upgrade or decommissioning. Consider the financial impact to operations, capital budget planning and decision making. Develop an implementation strategy for the recommended options.
Phase 3 – Reporting
Prepare a comprehensive report of Consultant findings including recommended options, cost estimates and implementation strategy. Present findings to Alberta Parks.
The objectives of the project are to develop cost effective options and recommendations based on detailed condition assessments and operational needs, and to determine a prioritized approach for refurbishment and upgrades of infrastructure within the park.
