Effingham County is undertaking a comprehensive multi-site park improvement project to enhance public recreational facilities at three locations: Clyo Community Center & Park, Meldrim Park, and Pineora Park. This project will be delivered under a single prime contract and includes site grading, utility and drainage improvements, new asphalt and concrete paving, reconstruction of baseball fields, installation of fencing, lighting upgrades, and landscape enhancements. Additional scope includes delegated design and construction of new restroom and shelter structures at Pineora Park, and renovation of existing park buildings at both Clyo and Pineora.
The work is to be completed within 365 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The contractor may phase or sequence the work across sites but must adhere to the individual project specifications and coordinate with County staff to ensure public safety and operational continuity during construction. This project is funded by local resources and aims to improve accessibility, functionality, and aesthetics of public park infrastructure throughout the County.
