Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at Woodard & Curran located 80 Exchange St., Suite 400, Bangor, ME 04401, until Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11:00 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project is being bid and the resulting Contract is subject to the laws of the State of Maine (Revised Statutes Annotated).
The Project includes installation of water main on Wilson Street, including fittings, valves, copper water services and curb stops at the right-of-way, as well as installation of water main below railroad tracks using jack and bore methods.
The Work shall be substantially complete within 75 days from commencement of the Contract Time and completed and ready for final payment 105 days from the commencement of Contract Time as set forth in the Agreement.
This Contract is expected to be funded in whole or in part by monies made available by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and administered by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Any person interested in Bidding on this Contract should thoroughly familiarize themselves with the DWSRF Supplemental General Conditions. Failure to comply with any of the DWSRF conditions may result in the Bidder being determined non-responsive and therefore, not entitled to the award of this Contract. See Bid Documents for full requirements. Neither the State of Maine nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is, or will be, party to the Contract. The word “agency” in the Contract Documents refers to the DHHS and all other involved funding agencies.

Contract 2” to be included on the Bidder’s list. Instructions for accessing the Bidding Documents will then be provided by email.
