Project Description: Washington Coastal Tribal Leader's Dinner
Quinault Housing Authority is hosting a dinner for the Washington Coastal Tribal
Leader's Cohort Meeting on Monday September 28th, 2026. We are seeking bids
to cook a traditional Salmon dinner cooked on stick by fireside with potato salad,
baked beans, and dessert of your choosing for 50 guests at the Taholah
Community Center. Dinner will need to be served at 5:00 pm.
Scope of work
* Prep, cook, and serve dinner and dessert for 50 people.
* QHA will supply the salmon, Prep fish and cook on a stick by fireside
* Shop for supplies for the sides and dessert. A check can be provided in
advance for the purchase of food and supplies.
* Set up of dining area, which includes setting tables and chairs up.
* Cleaning of kitchen after event and dining area (putting tables and chairs
away, sweeping, mopping, taking out the garbage, etc.).
* Be at the community center for the pre-rental and post-rental walk
Qualifications
* Food handlers permit for all that will be prepping and cooking food
* QIN Business License
Indian Contractor Preference
Preference will be given to Indian Contractors. Please specify in the proposal If
bidders are Quinault (with enrollment number), Supporting Quinault, Other Indian,
or Non-Tribal.
Submission of Bids
* Description of qualifications, including your experience cooking for large
gatherings
* Anticipated menu with costs, with a breakdown for food, supplies and labor
Bids are due Monday September 21th, 2026 by 3:00 p.m. and must be
submitted to Mariah Ralston at 209 Spruce St, Taholah WA 98587 or
emailed to mralston@quinault.org Please provide a W-9, Food Handler's
Permit, and 2026 QIN Business License with your bid, if possible, to help speed
