Response can be multiple labele d document attachments or a single master document (preferred) as long as the document is electronically searchable and material is clearly labeled in a table of contents. Contract Award A committee is established for the purpose of reviewing and evaluating proposed responses based on a set of criteria outlined in this RFP. Evaluation criteria will define categories with assigned weighted values to be used as a scoring measure to determine the best overall solution for the Department based on technical expertise and price, including, but not limited to the criteria outlined in this RFP (See attribute #14). The award shall be offered to a firm whose properly submitted compliant response best meets the requirements of the solicitation and receives the highest overall score of the weighted criteria. DOT reserves the right to award to multiple vendors. Contract The Successful Responder will be awarded a three (3) year contract with an option to renew for three (3) additional years in twelve (12) month increments. Communication Until a contract is awarded the sole point of contact for the solicitation is the Purchasing Agent identified in the solicitation. All questions must be directed solely to the purchasing agent listed in the bid opportunity. We encourage vendor to upload all questions on or before the question cut off due date and time in ION wave. Responses to questions will be communicated out to vendors via DOT’s ION wave bid system. Responses shall be submitted within DOT’s IONwave Bid System or signed and prepared in ink or typewritten in the solicitation documents provided. Telephonic, email or facsimile responses shall not be considered.
