Pine Bush Building Renovation – Phase III

Pine Bush (Building 30), built in 1966, is part of the original academic podium building at the University at Albany’s uptown campus. It is a 96,692 SF academic/science building that housed Mathematics and Earth Science programs. The University is planning a targeted renovation of the building to update office, instructional, and public spaces, as well as building systems, to enable the merger of the School of Public Health and the School of Social Welfare as a new combined college on the Uptown Campus. This RFQ is focusing on approximately 15,615sf of shell space created during phase II of the project. The space has been abated and is currently open for development once programed.

The services required include, full Architectural and Engineering services in accordance with Article I of the SUNY Consultant Agreement. Services shall include, but not be limited to, program phase, schematic design, design manual, construction documents, and construction administration for the Project. The design service disciplines anticipated to be provided by the consultant are as follows: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Structural, Controls, and AV services. All services shall align with the SUNY Consultant Agreement.
