Replace Loading Dock Door - H. Carl McCall Building
Description:

The State University of New York at System Administration will receive sealed bids for project number 361071 titled Replace Loading Door - H. Carl McCall Building until 2:00 p.m. local time on 9/10/2025 at the H. Carl McCall Building and S138, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The scope of work includes, and is not limited to, removing the existing double doors. Enlarging the masonry opening. Installing a new lintel, a new rolling door, and a single passage door. HVAC scope includes the removal of the existing air curtain and the removal of the ceiling grid, as needed, to complete the work. The new HVAC work includes new air curtains and thermostatic controls. The electrical scope includes the removal of a wall-mounted electric heater and existing ceiling hung lights, as needed, to complete the work. The new electrical work includes new circuits to power the HVAC equipment, a new wall-mounted electric heater, new pathways for the card readers, door access, and spares for future use.

All work on this Contract is to be completed within 6 months after the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and the following locations.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate per the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Bid security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid.

MBE, WBE, and SDVOB goals are set as 15%, 15% and 6% respectively.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make no award.
