Description
Cape Breton Regional Municipality is seeking to purchase Hydraulic Alligator Shears. Requesting a unit with 12" blade lengths, 10 HP, 97 Max cutting force in throat (tons), 1 3/4" cutting capacity mild steel rounds, 12-60 strokes per minute, adjustable hold down device, and approximately 1850 lbs. The application should be the industry standard for general scrap duty, cables, rebar, etc. It should also come equipped with mechanical foot cable pedal control with mechanical valve. A 2000 lb capacity scrap bin would also need to be included.
