Services for Morley Fields

The attention of bidders submitting proposals for the above-referenced project is called
to the following Addendum to the Request for Proposals indicated above. The items set
forth herein, whether of omission, addition, substitution or other change, are all to be
included in, and form a part of the proposed Contract Documents for the work.
Inclusion of this Addendum must be acknowledged in the spaces provided in the
document entitled “Request for Proposals 26-020 - Environment & Design Services for
Morley Fields”. Failure to acknowledge any and all addenda in the above specified bid
form may be cause for rejection of the bids by the Owner on the grounds that it is not
responsive.
This addendum consists of two (2) pages.
Item 1: Questions and Answers:
Q1: Can the City share the conceptual plans that have been discussed in previous public
meetings? If there is no formal concept plan, can you please provide a description of the
improvements that were discussed during the public meetings. Section 4, Task 3.1 describes a
proposed pavilion and restrooms, retaining wall, etc
A1: There is no concept plan that will be available through this RFQ process. Please disregard any
reference(s) to this plan in Section 3.0.

Q2: Is there any information available regarding the history of Morley Field being a former
filtration plant, and any other identified environmental issues?
A2: There is information on the history of the site that will be made available to the consultant
that will be awarded the contract. Documents will be made available upon selection of the
selected consultant and during the time of the negotiations of the scope of work and pricing.

Q3: Is the proposed restroom a prefabricated unit, or should the design of the restroom facility
be included in the scope?
A3: The type of structure will be decided on during final negotiations between the City and the
selected consultant.

Q4: Are there any existing environmental reports for the site?
A4: Yes. The selected consultant can obtain these from RIDEM prior to submitting a fee for the
project.

Q5: We were wondering if Morley Field is currently fenced off or if it allows public access? We
are hoping to attend the site for a quick walkthrough to get a look at things if possible.
A5: The site is fenced off and no public access is allowed.

Q6: Is there an approved site plan for the development of Lot 309, the north side of Morley Field,
and Lot 360 east of the site? If possible, please provide those plans.
A6: There no approved plan for the redevelopment of Lot 309. There is one for Lot 360 and this
will be made available to the selected consultant.

Q7: Will on-street parking be permitted on Grenville Street?
A7: Yes
