Description

Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement for the construction of Klemtu Communication Tower. The work for this includes the construction of a self-supported tower on a remote CCG communication site. The work on the site includes, but is not limited to:
1. Mobilization and Demobilization of all manpower, equipment, materials, and other resources necessary to execute the Work;
2. Localized removal of rock, as required, for installation of tower foundations;
3. Design, supply, and installation of a new 30m self-supported tower and associated concrete foundations;
4. Design, supply, and installation of concrete foundations for waveguide bridge;
5. Design, supply, and installation of waveguide bridge and associated foundations;
6. Design and supply of lightning arrester and associated above grade components (bus bar, grounding conductor, etc.);
7. Supply and installation of below grade grounding components.
8. Connection of grounding components to below grade grounding system installed by CCG.
The work is to be completed on Swindle Peak which is a site located approximately 55 kilometres North of Bella Bella, BC. Site coordinates are approximately 52° 34' 44.47"N, 128° 34' 50.37"W.
