REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of the City of Hattiesburg,
Mississippi will receive sealed Request for Proposals until 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March
26, 2026, in the City Clerk's Office in the City Hall of said City for furnishing the City's
requirements of the following:
Historic Survey and National Register Nomination for the Hattiesburg Historic
Neighborhood District.
The above shall be delivered as per detailed specifications on file in the Office of
the City Clerk, P. O. Box 1898, 200 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, Mississippi 39403-1898,
(601-545-4552) which may be obtained upon request.
Each PROPOSAL must be received in a sealed envelope which is marked in the
lower left-hand corner with the word "REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS" and the NAME
OF ITEM on which bid is being made and the DATE OF PROPOSAL OPENING.
The best PROPOSAL received will be accepted, subject to the provisions of
Section 31-7-13 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated as Amended, and other
applicable State law; but the Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids received
and to waive informalities.
