SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

The follow has been attached for you to complete and review:

1. QTY2 - Customized air-bearing Rotary Table.

Base Unit Specifications:

• Total Indicated runout of
  
• 145 +/- 20 mm diameter rotary surface.


• Total stack height including customization not to exceed 130mm.

1. QTY 2 – Customization of Rotary table:

• Addition of commutator ring with 30min to 36 channels


• Top rotation table to have connectors for commutator ring along the circumference.


• Top rotary plate modified for mount hole pattern for PI-USA N565 stage, centered. These two stack stages have 15 wires each which will connector to the commutator ring.


• Base plate of Rotary Table to have commutator ring ‘flying leads’ exist the side of the plate.


• Base plate to have a flatness of
  
• Base plate to have a thru-hole mount pattern that is 154mm x154mm for M6 SHCS.

1. QTY2 - EPICS compatible Motion Controller.

• 10meter extension cables


• Input for pressure switch to shut down system for machine protection.
