The Town of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, shall receive General Bids at the Town Managers Office at the Town Hall, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts for the Well Cleaning and Redevelopment of the five active Home Farm Wells, two Lambert Wells, and two Sewell Wells, Contract No. 22, until 1PM prevailing time, Thursday, August 28, 2025, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted. The Work of this Contract generally consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, chemicals, and materials necessary to inspect the existing well pumps, clean, redevelop, disinfect, and return to service the selected wells in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts to their original capacity using chemical cleaning and redevelopment. The Contract will be for a one-year period with the potential to extend the contract for up to two (2) additional one-year periods. It is the intent to clean two to three wells each year, potentially at different well sites each year. Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications are available Wednesday, August 6, 2025, electronically through Tata & Howard, Inc. by contacting Kaitlyn Calhoun, kcalhoun@tatandhoward.com. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provisions of the M.G.L., Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project.
