Description:

Project Name and Location: Schine Theater Façade Alterations, located at 63,65,67 Main Street, Massena

Sealed bids for the Schine Theater Façade Alterations. Massena, New York, will be received until 3:00PM, Monday, March 10 th 2025 by the Village of Massena, 60 Main Street c/o Monique Chatland or via email at villageclerk@village.massena.ny.us and cmousaw@labellapc.com , at which place and time the bids will be opened. Proposals received after that time will not be accepted. Emailed bids must be RECEIVED prior to the deadline above.

Single lump sum bids are required in accordance with plans and specifications. Sealed bids shall be marked ‘Schine Theater Façade Alterations, Bid Enclosed – Do Not Open.’

Pre-Bid walk-through is scheduled at the site Thursday, 27 th February 2025 at 2:30PM. Contractors will meet the Architect at the project location.

Bidding and Contract Documents are available starting 14 th of February 2025 from the Architect and may be examined at LaBella Associates, DPC, 22 Depot Street Suite 16, Potsdam, NY 13676. Hard copies of the Bidding and Contract Documents for the proposed work may be obtained at Syracuse Blueprint, 825 East Genesee St., Syracuse, NY, (800-962-1458).

All bids must be written in ink on the forms provided. Bidders must document all sub-contraction opportunities to the grant admin team and any Certified MWBEs they intend to use for the project in Line Item #9 on the Bid Form. Bids shall also be accompanied by a completed Non-Collusion Statement and an Affidavit of Non-Use Asbestos, both forms provided with the Bid Forms.

The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Attention of bidders is called to the tax-exempt status of the Massena Arts and Theater Association. This is a private wage rate project.

Owner reserves the right to consider all bids for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days following the bid opening before awarding the Contract, during which period bids shall not be withdrawn, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids, and to award the Contract in the Owner's best interest. The date of substantial completion for the work shall be no later than 1 st October 2025.
