Project Description
The Quinault Indian Nation Planning Department is hosting a Community Dinner to
provide updates on the Taholah Relocation Master Plan. We are soliciting bids for
contractors to cook dinner (menu is up to your choosing) and dessert for attendees at the
Taholah Community Center (February 25th, 2026) to be served by 6:30 pm.
Scope of Work:
Prep, cook, and serve dinner for 65 people at the Taholah Community Center. The menu
is up to you: please state in detail what you will be preparing and what you will be
purchasing. Water will need to be purchased to go with the dinner.
Shop for food and any supplies needed, including disposable plates, utensils, and
napkins. The budget is $25/person for the meal. A check for the total per person
amount of $1,625 can be provided in advance for the purchase of food, beverages, and
supplies from the vendor of your choice, or a PO to Swanson’s can be provided.
Setup and breakdown of dining area at the event, which includes setting tables and
chairs.
Cleaning of kitchen after event and dining area (putting tables and chairs away,
sweeping, mopping, and removing trash) leaving no additional work for the community
or staff.
Contractors must be available to meet at the Taholah Community Center for the pre-
rental and post rental walk through.
Work Qualifications:
Please include the following in your proposal:
Valid food handlers permit
QIN Business License
Please describe your cooking experience for at least two large gatherings
Please state in detail the anticipated menu with cost breakdown for food, supplies, and
labor costs. Water will need to be purchased for the meal.

Preference will be given to Indian Contractors. Please specify in the proposal if bidders are
Quinault (with enrollment number), Supporting Quinault, Other Indian, or Non-Tribal
Bids are due Thursday, February 12th, 2026 by 4:00pm. And must be
submitted to Cora Pope at 1214 Aalis Drive, Taholah, WA 98587 or emailed
to bids@quinault.org with the subject line “Taholah Relocation Update
Dinner.” Please cc bryan.pelach@quinault.org and
max.howard@quinault.org when submitting bids.
Please provide a W-9, Food Handler’s Permit, and 2026 QIN Business
License with your bid, if possible, to help speed up the process.
