Buster Pike South Bridge Replacement

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BUSTER PIKE SOUTH BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

Boyle County Fiscal Court in conjunction with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is accepting competitive sealed bids for the Buster Pike South over Norfolk Southern Railroad Bridge Replacement until Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 1 pm (EST). All bids shall be in a sealed envelope, mailed or delivered to: Judge Executive Trille Bottom, 321 West Main Street, Room 111, Danville, KY 40422. All bid envelopes shall be clearly marked “Buster Pike South Bridge Replacement – SEALED BID” in the bottom left corner of the envelope. The bids will be opened in a public forum in the Conference Room at 1:15 pm (EST).

The purpose of this project is to construct a single-span cambered steel girder bridge at the location of the previous bridge and reconstruct the roadway approach to the proposed bridge. The proposed bridge is located on Buster Pike South approximately 0.30 miles south of Faulkner Lane in Boyle County, Kentucky.

A pre-construction meeting will be scheduled with the low bidder after award.

Bidders must be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts.

A 5% Bid Bond is required with the contactors bid. The successful bidder will be required to execute Contract and provide a payment and performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. Boyle County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any and all bids and accept the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder. No BIDDER may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof.
