REMOVAL OF ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS AT THE
PREVIOUS CITY OF NORTH LITTLE ROCK POLICE AND COURTS BUILDING
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Sealed bids, from qualified licensed contractors, for the removal of Asbestos Containing Materials from the Previous City of North Little Rock Police and Courts Building, 200 Pershing Blvd., North Little Rock, AR., will be received at the North Little Rock School District Offices: 2400 Willow Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114 , on or before 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. At which time and place, the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud . Any bid received after 2:00 PM will be returned unopened.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be conducted on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Project Site: 200 Pershing Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72114. Only qualified licensed Abatement Contractors attending this Meeting will be eligible to submit a bid. Sub-Contractors and Suppliers are invited but not required to attend.

Obtaining contract documents through any source other than from the designated distribution representative is not advisable due to the risks of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information, and the bidders are at risk of basing their Bid(s) on such incomplete and inaccurate information. Bidding documents may be examined at Shields & Associates, Inc.7101 Dewafflebaker Ln. North Little Rock, AR 72113, by Appointment Only.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% complying with Arkansas regulations shall accompany each bid. No bid shall be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, for at least thirty (30) days. A performance and payment bond, equal to the amount of the contract, and issued by a surety authorized to do business in the state of Arkansas will be required of the successful bidder.
All bidders shall comply with requirements of the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors and shall be licensed on the day of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.
