Project Description: Bear River Mental health will provide assessments and treatment to clients involved with the Utah 1st District Mental Health Court, including jail assessments to determine mental health court eligibility. Bear River Mental Health is a 501 3c non-profit organization contracting with Box Elder, Cache, and Rich counties in the 1st District to provide mental health services. Since they have contracts with the counties, they can work with Medicaid, which lowers the costs for services.
