PRE-QUALIFICATION TO SUPPLY

DIESEL AND UNLEADED REGULAR GASOLINE

Suppliers of No 2 red-dyed diesel and unleaded regular gasoline are invited to submit Pre-Qualification documents to the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT). BAT is seeking qualified fuel suppliers to be included on the list of suppliers eligible to submit bids to BAT for diesel and unleaded regular gasoline contracts for fuel to be delivered to BAT during the period beginning May 15, 2025 through June 30, 2027.

Pre-Qualification submittals, required certifications and evidence of insurance must be received by BAT no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 14, 2025 to be eligible for pending solicitations. Fuel suppliers will be considered for pre-qualification throughout the above contract period. Firms may submit prequalification documents at any time to be considered eligible to bid on BAT’s contracts after review and approval by BAT. BAT intends to solicit bids for diesel fuel in quantities of 42,000 gallons or more and may solicit bids for as little as 3,000 gallons. BAT also intends to solicit bids for unleaded regular gasoline in quantities of 42,000 gallons or more and may solicit bids for as little as 3,000 gallons. BAT consumes approximately 7,500 gallons of diesel fuel and 1,900 gallons of gasoline each week. BAT’s unleaded above ground fuel storage tank capacity is 5,000 gallons whereas BAT’s underground diesel fuel tank capacity is 40,000 gallons.

This solicitation is being financed in part with funds provided by The U.S. DOT, Federal Transit Administration and is subject to BAT Standard Terms and Clauses copies of which are available on request or at www.ridebat.com under Procurement Opportunities.
