Scope of Work:
Install a new stackable washer and dryer at Katherine Dunn Elementary School and Edwin S. Dodson Elementary School. Install new domestic water piping from the point of connection to the washer, and all required drainage. Also install a new dryer vent with exterior roof penetration, including proper flashing and sealing. Provide new electrical circuits from existing service panels to washer and dryer. All work shall be performed as drawn and specified.
Contractor’s Licensing
It is WCSD's opinion that the scope of work for this project qualifies for the following license groups: Specialty License C1, C2, or C3 if the bidder is performing the majority of the work per NRS 338.139.
If a Contractor would like to seek clarification from the Nevada State Contractor’s Board, then they must do so ten (10) days prior to the bid due date. https://www.nvcontractorsboard.com/
Sealed bids for the Installation of Washer and Dryer at Katherine Dunn Elementary School and Edwin S. Dodson Elementary School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on July 10, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).

There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting beginning at 3:30 p.m. on June 18, 2026, at Katherine Dunn Elementary School (Meet in Front of the Office) 1135 O’Callaghan Drive, Sparks, NV 89434 and continuing on at Edwin S. Dodson Elementary School. Due to access and coordination involved in this project we highly recommend that contractors walk the project site that we are making available.
