Military Sealift Command (MSC) is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors capable of removing approximately 1.5 million gallons of various fuels (types to be determined) from a T-AO Class ship located in San Diego, CA. The contractor shall be responsible for the complete removal and secure truck transportation of the fuel to a designated temporary storage facility determined by the contractor. The contractor will hold the fuel in secure storage until a final disposal location is determined. This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only and will be used to determine potential sources and suitable capabilities. Interested parties are requested to submit information demonstrating experience in handling, transporting, and storing fuel. This is NOT a request for quote. Any quotes received will not be considered.
