Department of Public Works, Fort Leavenworth, KS is seeking current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to work that includes but is not limited to the USDB Textile Warehouse at building 1146, Fort Leavenworth, KS. The purpose of the Statement of Work is to outline the requirements for the work that include to the addition of an approximate 1,282 SF metal building office and new recessed truck dock. Repair or replacement of mechanical, electrical and fire protection and detection systems. Repair related to building renovation or demolition. Interior remodeling work including carpentry, painting, floor and wall covering or finishes.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials as well as performing all work in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. All work performed by the Contractor shall result in a complete and renovation.

This acquisition will require a general contractor with experience and expertise capable of managing numerous task orders at the same time, which will require construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors in a wide variety of construction trades.

The contract to be awarded under this contract will be for construction in Fort Leavenworth, within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a corresponding Size Standard of $45 million.
