New Atlantic Contracting, Inc. will accept sealed bids from Prequalified 1 st Tier Trade Contractors only, for the NCSU Dabney Hall Renovation (chemistry lab space) project. New Atlantic Contracting, Inc. hasbeen selected as the Construction Manager at Risk. Small, minority, women, and disabled-owned business enterprises are encouraged to participate in the bidding process, including in 2 nd tier opportunities to work with Prequalified 1 st Tier Contractors.

Work includes renovation of approximately 44,000 square feet of existing lab spaces and office work spaces. Space on (3) floors will be fully demo’d. Space on (2) floors will be renovated with completely new work. Project includes completely new MEPFP equipment and infrastructure to support all (9) floors of Dabney Hall. Exterior façade will be replaced and repaired and roof will be fully replaced. Project includes sitework and utilities.

Historically underutilized business participation is highly encouraged. If a MWBE firm requests assistance with cash flow needs, New Atlantic Contracting will work with that vendor, to arrange payment on a biweekly basis through a joint check arrangement.

Sealed bids will be received in Room 301, Administration III Building, 2601 Wolf Village Way, Raleigh, NC 27607 on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 2:00pm (EDT).

If necessary, a Re-Bid is scheduled for Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 2:00pm (EDT) at Room124A/B, Administration III Building, 2601 Wolf Village Way, Raleigh, NC 27607.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 2:00pm (EDT) at Dabney Hall, Room 124 (2620 Yarbrough Dr, Raleigh, NC 27607). Parking is available at the Dan Allen Parking Deck.
