Winnipeg Street Bridge to Culverts

The Work means the total construction required and includes all labor, material (culverts to be supplied by the RM), equipment, and services.

The work involves the removal of an existing timber bridge and replacement with 2 – 1200 mm (4ft.) diameter corrugated steel pipe culverts including a grade raise in accordance with the applicable Ministry of Highways specifications, located at Winnipeg Street, SE 30-18-19 W2, Rural Municipality of Sherwood No. 159 for a Unit Price Contract in accordance with the following:

1. The work shall consist of removing and properly disposing of the existing wood pile bridge and also include excavation of embankment material located on Winnipeg Street, SE 30-18-19 W2.
2. Replace the bridge with 2-1200 mm (4 ft.) steel corrugated pipe culverts approximately 20 metres in length (to be supplied by the RM) including grade raise of the road elevation as required.
3. Minimum 9 metre road top.
4. Minimum of 1 metre of fill over the culverts, extending approximately 30 meters north and 30 meters south of the culverts with minimum 4:1 road slopes.
5. The bottom of the creek being sub cut to the depth of suitable material to build on.

Bids marked Tender 25-06 – Replace Winnipeg Street Bridge with Culverts will be received until 2:00 PM CST, Friday, June 13, 2025 at the office of the Rural Municipality of Sherwood No. 159 - 4400 Campbell Street, Regina, SK. S4W 0L3. Bids will be accepted in person or by email at joe@rmofsherwood.ca up to the closing time of 2:00PM local time on Friday, June 13, 2025.
