Synopsis:
|
|
Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Discovery and Service Design for the Provincial Immigration Programs and Services as further described in the RFS Particulars (Appendix A) (the Deliverables).
The Ministry of Immigration and Career Training (ICT) has expanded its immigration services beyond application processing to include areas such as compliance and enforcement, and credential recognition. The current information technology (IT) system, built in 2008-09, was built primarily for processing applications and does not support these additional functions effectively. In addition, ICT’s immigration data is spread across multiple systems, with no centralized data warehouse to facilitate analysis. ICT needs to explore modern IT solutions to support current and future lines of business and data warehousing options.
