Notification for Hay Sale
PROCEDURES FOR SALE
The City of Fayetteville will be accepting commitments for the 2025 hay production on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 8:30 AM, local time. The commitment will only be taken via telephone by calling 479-587-7128, following the directions described below.
Commitments will not be taken until 8:30 AM, on a first call first serve basis. Requests can be made in tons. The maximum commitment is 200 tons per customer. New customers will be allowed a maximum of 50 tons.
Due to the nature of the business, the City will strive to meet the commitment tonnage, but make no guarantees. The maximum price for hay is set at $120.00 per ton for 2025. Customers will be notified when their commitment is available. Barn storage, if available, will be $10.00 per ton.
The hours for hay removal from the fields or hay stored in the barns will be Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., except for holidays, or scheduled obligations. For a complete listing of requirements, interested parties can go to
