INVITATION FOR BIDS
IFB# 8704 Framingham Centralized Dispatch
The City of Framingham, through the Mayor of Framingham Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids for IFB# 8704 Framingham Centralized Dispatch. The project consists of exterior and interior renovations to the existing office building and site at 188 concord street. the exterior building renovations involve improvements to the existing structural bracing and structural roof design and upgrades to the cladding, glazing, and wall and roof insulation assemblies. the interior upgrades involve renovating approximately 6,900 sf on the 3rd and 4th floors for a new regional dispatch and emergency communications center and upgrades to the common areas of the 1st and 2nd floor for accessibility. the exterior site renovations include modifications to the existing parking configuration for a new building generator, new accessible parking, and new EV charging stations.
DCAMM Certification is required to bid on this project; General bid certification category is GENERAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
Filed Sub-Bids shall be included for the following 12 trades:
Acoustical Tile, Electrical Work, Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems, Glass and Glazing, HVAC, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Painting, Plumbing, Resilient Floors, Roofing and Flashing, Tile, Waterproofing/Damp-proofing/Caulking
Bid documents can be obtained electronically only through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal

on May 28 , 2025 after 10:00 A.M.in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Context Architecture Bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Vendor Registry system. Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.
Sealed General Contract bids shall be submitted in strict conformance with the bid document and will be submitted electronically through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal
