2025 Curb Line Milling Project

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received online by Whitpain Township via the PennBid Program ( www.PennBid.net) for the 2025 Curb Line Milling Project, until 10:00 A.M. prevailing time, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at which time they will be electronically opened.

The Bids will be received for the following Contract:

Whitpain Township 2025 CURB LINE MILLING PROJECT

The contract involves 4’ wide 0” to ¾” curb line taper milling including but not limited to the legal handling and offsite disposal of millings, mobilization and demobilization, maintenance and protection of traffic, and street sweeping.

Sets of the Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained at no cost on the PennBid website. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, Paragraph 14 - Bid Submission.   A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Whitpain Township in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security.

Whitpain Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.

A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled.

Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
