DESCRIPTION:
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, materials, labor, and supervision necessary to replace one submersible pump and one soft starter at the 180th Fighter Wing main lift station (ID: #3) located in Swanton, Ohio. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
SCOPE OF WORK:
The required services include, but are not limited to, the following:
Removal & Disposal: Safe removal and environmentally compliant disposal of the existing failed submersible pump and soft starter components.
Brand Name Installation:
Procurement and installation of one (1) new Gorman-Rupp SF Series submersible pump (Model SFV4D).
Procurement and installation of one (1) new Allen-Bradley soft starter (fully compatible, like-for-like replacement for the existing SMC Flex model).
Integration & Testing: Execution of all necessary NEC-compliant electrical wiring, system start-up, and operational testing to verify proper pump cycling, alternation, and overall system integration.
Deliverables: Provision of required submittals, including technical cut sheets, as-built drawings, and comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
All work must be completed within 90 calendar days after the date of contract award.
CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITES:
In accordance with the PWS and federal labor laws, the contractor is responsible for:
Labor Wages: Strictly adhering to the attached Department of Labor Wage Determination. All contractor and subcontractor personnel must be paid the applicable prevailing wages for this area and labor category.
Deliverables: Providing all necessary submittals, including technical cut sheets and O&M manuals.
Testing: Conducting full operational testing and start-up to verify system restoration.
Documentation: Ensuring as-built drawings are provided upon project completion.
