Sealed bids are invited and will be received by the City of Waukegan, at Public Works, 1700 N. McAree Road, Waukegan IL 60085 until June 23rd, 2025, at 9:00 am Central Standard Time (CST) for:
DCEO LEAD SERVICE LINE REPLACEMENT
LEWIS AVE BETWEEN GLEN FLORA AVE & GRAND AVE
In accordance with the specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer, this will be made available to all parties desiring to bid. Bids will be opened at Waukegan Public Works, 1700 N. McAree Road, and bids will be due June 23rd, 2025, at 9:00 and can be viewed in person in the Public Works Building

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the bidder and the words:

Bids shall be addressed to Jesus Alquicira, City Engineer, City of Waukegan, 1700 N. McAree Road, Waukegan Illinois 60085 and must be received before 9:00 a.m. June 23rd, 2025.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a completed, notarized application form and submitted on the enclosed proposal form.

Each bidder, by making a bid to furnish the aforementioned item(s), signifies their intention and good faith to enter into contract with the City of Waukegan should they be awarded the bid.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make an award on those bids which, in its opinion, are most advantageous to the City of Waukegan. By the order of the Council of the City of Waukegan.
