This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. All prospective contractors must be registered and have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be awarded a DoD contract. This solicitation document, F4FFBJ4339A001, is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03. Reference the Solicitation number in the subject line of the RFP response.
See the attached PWS for requirements specifications. The vendor shall provide vendor-specific supply chain risk information to assist with illumination/risk identification.
Options: Base, plus two option years.
Period of Performance: 36 Months
In accordance with FAR 15.101-2, award will be made to the lowest total price, technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror. The lowest total priced proposal will be reviewed for technical acceptability. If the lowest priced proposal isn't awardable then the next lowest proposal shall be evaluated and so on.
Anticipated Award Date is 7 April 2025.
Col Paul W. Tinker has been appointed as Ombudsman. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, evaluation of proposals or source selection process and does not diminish the authority of the contracting officer.
