PROTOTYPING OF POWER DIVIDERS UTILIZED IN THE WING TIP POD (WTP) OF THE ALQ-218(V)2 TACTICAL JAMMING SUBSYSTEM RECEIVER (TJSR)
1. PURPOSE
This Special Notice is issued to provide awareness of the release of a Request for Solutions (RFS) for an other transaction project in accordance with 10 U.S.C. ยง 4022. The RFS title Prototyping of Power Dividers utilized in the WTP of the ALQ-218(V)2 TJSR has been issued as part of the Strategic & Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trust Systems (S2MARTS) consortium managed by National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) and administered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane
Division.
2. BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY
2.1 Other Transaction Consortium
Vendors interested in responding to this RFS must be members of the Strategic & Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trusted Systems (S2MARTS) Consortium. Interested parties may visit S2MARTS.org for membership information.
2.2 PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Government is seeking to optimize the power dividers for the EA-18G aircraft. These power dividers must meet the SCD 991416 requirements (for parts 991416-1 & 991416-5) and associated testing requirements. The power dividers are currently
utilized in the Wing Tip Pod of the AN/ALQ-218(V)(2) Tactical Jamming Subsystem Receiver (TJSR), which is installed on the EA-18G Growler aircraft and will also be utilized in the AN/ALQ-218(V)3 & (V)4. The goal/success is to qualify a new design
and source of supply for power dividers in accordance with SCD 991416 requirements for parts 991416-1 & 991416-5 and associated testing requirements.
