Please read the following prompt about this purchase requisition in red below and inform me if you are be able to do a DPAS rated order.
The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) regulations issued by the Department of Commerce (DOC) ensure that subcontractors give preferential treatment to purchase orders for national defense and atomic energy programs. Under DPAS, the DOC has delegated to U.S. Government agencies the authority to issue “rated orders.” A rated order is a subcontract in support of authorized national defense or atomic energy programs issued in accordance with
DPAS regulations.
The rated order includes the “Defense Priorities and Allocations System” provision. This is a
rated order certified for national defense use, and you are required to follow all the provisions
of the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) regulation (15 CFR Part 700).”
