Separate sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF A TURF SOFTBALL FIELD AND ITEM RELATED TO THE SOFTBALL FIELD AT GEORGE KELL PARK IN NEWPORT, ARKANSAS will be received by the City of Newport, at City Hall, 615 Third Street, Newport, AR, until 10:00 A.M. on March 17, 2026. Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained at Miller Newell Engineers, 510 Third Street, Newport, AR 72112.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
A pre-bid conference will be held on March 4, 2026 at 10:00 at Newport City Hall, 615 Third Street, Newport, AR. All contractors are encouraged to attend.
In accordance with Act 150 of 1965, as amended, all bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
