Date & Time: 3/9/2026 10:00 AM Description: NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Brookhaven, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 am local time on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the office of the City of Brookhaven Boardroom located at 101 W Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, MS 39602 for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and for performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the construction of the 2023 MCWI/ARPA Pump Station Improvements - Contract 3. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 am local time, on Monday, March 9, 2026 at the office of the City of Brookhaven. The project includes the upgrading existing pump station, installing new pumps and controls at existing pump stations, installing access drive, and installing privacy fence. The Contract Time will be One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $360 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. ---------------------------------------------------------------- |

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Brookhaven, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids until the
hour of 10:00 am local time on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the office of the City of Brookhaven
Boardroom located at 101 W Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, MS 39602 for the furnishing of all labor and
materials, and for performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the construction of
the 2023 MCWI/ARPA Pump Station Improvements – Contract 3.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 am local time, on Monday, March 9, 2026 at the office of the
City of Brookhaven.
The project includes the upgrading existing pump station, installing new pumps and controls at
existing pump stations, installing access drive, and installing privacy fence. The Contract Time will be
One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $360 per
consecutive calendar day thereafter.
Plans, contract documents and proposal forms are on file for public inspection in the office of the
City of Brookhaven, 101 W Chickasaw St., Brookhaven, MS 39602, and in the office of the Engineer, WGK,
Inc., 204 W Leake St., Clinton, MS 39056 (601-925-4444). All documents required for bidding purposes,
including specifications and plans, may be viewed for free at www.wgkengineersprojects.com. Documents
may be downloaded for a non-refundable charge of $75. Hard Copies are also available for ordering online
for a non-refundable fee. For questions regarding the website or online orders contact Plan House at 662-
407-0193 or admin@phbidding.com. Online bidding will only be accepted through use of the
www.wgkengineersprojects.com website.
Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom the Contract
Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom
the Contract Documents were not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened.
State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident state’s current
law pertaining to such state’s treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by
a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor’s current state law shall be
rejected and not considered for award.
All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the hour of 10:00 am local time on Monday,
March 23, 2026, at the office of the City of Brookhaven Boardroom located at 101 W. Chickasaw St.,
Brookhaven, MS 39602. Bids will be considered by the City of Brookhaven at or before the next regular
meeting thereof to be held within thirty (30) days of the date of receipt of bids.
The City of Brookhaven reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to
reject any and all bids.
