DESC: This is a Market Survey for Maintenance Services for the MD-1386/A Improved Data Modem, IDM-401, Modules:
The current source for supply, NORTH ATLANTIC INDUSTRIES, 116 Wilbur Pl, Bohemia, NY 11716, United States, can produce and perform maintenance services for these items. The Modules (7 of 10 listed above) are installed in the MD-1386/A Improved Data Modem IDM401 to perform communications functions. The Modules are proprietary to NAI. Detailed technical data for the maintenance or acceptance of these Modules is not available from the U.S. Army. Suppliers capable of maintaining these Modules must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: FCDD-ISE-HIB, 6590 Reconnaissance Street, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1848. The response must include documentation if the supplier was subcontracted to listed source that the supplier/vendor can perform maintenance services to restore the Modules to serviceable condition. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that these Modules that are maintained will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
