Title: CMAR for Northwest Well Treatment Facility
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 8/7/2025
Due Date: 9/4/2025
The City of Tucson (City) is seeking a construction manager at risk (CMAR) to provide construction services for the Northwest Well Treatment Facility. The facility will treat raw water from three wells contaminated with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and 1,4-dioxane to provide up to 2.3 million gallons per day (MGD) of potable water to the Northwest portion of Tucson Water’s service area.
Tucson Water’s Northwest service area currently has limited capacity and redundancy due to PFAS and 1,4-dioxane contamination in the groundwater supply. This project’s objective is to restore lost capacity and redundancy to the Northwest service area by treating well water containing PFAS and 1,4-dioxane for potable consumption.
