This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract for unarmed security services in support of the HHS National Conference on Women’s Health 2026.
Interested parties may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the requirements described above. Capability statements shall not exceed 10 pages and must clearly demonstrate:
Experience providing armed event security services of similar size and scope
Capability to provide licensed armed and unarmed security personnel
Experience deploying magnetometers and K9 security services
Ability to develop and implement security protocols for large conference venues
The Government will review all responses received by the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The contractor shall provide comprehensive event security services, including but not limited to:
Project management and coordination
Deployment and staffing of magnetometers for attendee screening
K9 explosive detection sweeps and continuous monitoring
unarmed security officers (uniformed and plainclothes)
Roving supervisors
Development and execution of security protocols to mitigate identified vulnerabilities within event spaces
The anticipated period of performance will cover the duration of the conference event and associated pre- and post-event security requirements.
