This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources capable of providing the services outlined below. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. All information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary.



1.0 Introduction



Madigan Army Medical Center is conducting market research to identify qualified and experienced vendors capable of providing comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Laboratory Services (RLS). We are seeking to understand the capabilities of potential contractors to meet the salient characteristics detailed in this notice.



2.0 Salient Characteristics



Interested parties must demonstrate the ability to meet the following mandatory requirements:



2.1 Compliance and Accreditation




  • Must utilize only FDA-approved materials and sources for all products.

  • Must be currently accredited by The Joint Commission.

  • Must ensure all operations and products comply with United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 825 standards for radiopharmaceuticals.



2.2 Support and Delivery Services




  • Must provide "round the clock" (24/7/365) customer support.

  • Must have the proven ability to deliver support and products during weekends, federal holidays, and non-business hours.

  • Must be capable of delivering medications under urgent and STAT (immediate) timelines as requested.

  • Must provide safe, secure, and responsible delivery services for the transportation of radioactive materials in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations.



2.3 Required Medications



Vendors must have the capability to provide the following radiopharmaceuticals upon request, in the specified dosages and formats.

  • Tc99m Nephroscan (DMSA) - up to 5 mCi

  • UltraTag Kit per vial

  • I-123 NaI caps per 100uCi cap

  • I-123 NaI caps per 200uCi cap

  • I-123 NaI Compounded cap per mCI

  • In-111 DTPA per 1.5mci vial

  • In-111 Labeled WBC

  • I-131 Tx cap First mCi

  • I-131 Tx cap ea. additional mCi

  • Heparin 1000u/ml

  • Kinevac / Sincalide per vial

  • WBC collection kit



3.0 Response Instructions



Interested parties who believe they can meet these requirements are invited to submit a capability statement. The statement should be concise and directly address the salient characteristics listed in Section 2.0.

  4. A detailed narrative demonstrating your company's ability to provide the specified services and products.
