You are invited to submit a quotation to supply Huntsville Utilities with meter reading services per the contract documentation. E-mail Jim

Lawson at jim.lawson@hsvutil.org to obtain the bid documents. IFB 26-014 (Meter Reading Services) was cancelled and this invitation for

bid takes its place. Questions regarding this invitation for bid will only be taken via e-mail at jim.lawson@hsvutil.org.

Negotiations with any alternate service provider will be with contractors chosen from the original proposals submitted in response to this

invitation for bid (IFB). Contractors who do not submit a proposal per this IFB will not be considered for work under this Support Agreement.

Your Bid Proposal should include terms, availability, firm price and FOB delivery to the respective HU service area. HU reserves the right to

consider alternative pricing proposals. Vendor specified terms or conditions which would preclude bid rejection will not be renegotiated

after the bid opening.

Proposals submitted in response to this Invitation for Bid must remain in effect for a minimum period of 60 days following the bid opening

date. HU reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted and to evaluate and accept any bid, which in HU’s sole opinion, offers the

most acceptable services to HU.

A pre-bid conference is scheduled at the designated time and date referenced above. Participation is highly recommended but not

mandatory. Prospective bidders may ask any questions they have about the project. The answers will be disseminated to all prospective

bidders who have requested and received the bid documents.

Signed, dated, and sealed proposals will be accepted until the time and date specified above. The Bid shall be delivered in-person or by

mail to one of the addresses listed above. Proposals received after the bid opening time and date will be rejected. Proposals received via

facsimile machine or telephone will also be rejected.
