The Base Bid Scope of Work under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, services, equipment, materials, devices, facilities, and appurtenances for the rehabilitation of 5 sewer manholes found to be contributing excessive inflow and infiltration to the Town's sewer collection system. Manholes are to be rehabilitated using a combination of external chemical grout sealing and interior cementitious manhole lining along with an application of a corrosion resistant monolithic high-build epoxy lining system. This approach includes, but is not necessarily limited to, removal and patching of loose and/or unsound material from manhole walls and bench using a high-pressure water spray, cleaning and prepping surfaces for lining, repair of invert, bench, and walls if necessary, chemical grout sealing of invert, bench, walls, and pipe connections, and application of cementitious mix and epoxy system to form a liner. The Base Bid Scope of Work also includes replacement of 1 broken manhole seal as well as the completion of any sewer bypassing, permitting, police detail coordination, and traffic management required to complete the project.
