The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed proposals from interested firms (Offeror) to establish a contract through competitive negotiation for purchase and implementation of current state-of-the art Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) technology on City of Harrisonburg paratransit buses to support both paratransit operations and microtransit service. This will includeseveral technologies used currently within the industry. This technology will assist management in decision making, scheduling, reporting, and will improve customer service.
