Repair and Service of Laundry Equipment and Appliances

The City of Tucson is soliciting a Request For Proposal from qualified firm(s) for Preventative Maintenance and Repair of Commercial and Residential Appliances to include Laundry Equipment as per the Scope of Work. There will also be a one-time requirement to perform an inventory of City owned Equipment prior to commencement of maintenance and repair services. This equipment has been purchased in the past by the City and is no longer under warranty. This RFP may result in multiple awards.

The City has a diverse group of appliances that include, but not limited to, ranges, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, clothes washers, dryers and extractor machines by various manufacturers which require maintenance to remain in service. To that extent, the City wishes to enter into a contract to assist in the repair and maintenance of these City assets. This agreement will cover Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Emergency or On-Call repair service. In addition, the City will require assistance in confirming and updating records regarding its inventory of all equipment to be covered under this contract. Inventory still covered under its current manufacturer warranty, once it has lapsed will also be added to the maintenance and repair scope of this contract.
