The Town of Berlin is seeking to engage the services of a Consulting Engineering firm to provide engineering services for the preparation of contract plans and documents for the following pedestrian improvement project: State Project No. 007-267 Safe Routes to School Sidewalks Project The project is funded by the Carbon Reduction Program (CARBON) administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The project will construct approximately 9,100 linear feet of 5' wide concrete sidewalk along project streets. The work will also include sidewalk ramps, curbing, culvert extension, retaining walls, signs and pavement markings. The project is located on six streets.
